Biography
Maia started with Metrix Southwest in 2005 as a student. In 2006, she graduated with an Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography with a major emphasis in Urban Development from Western University. Since 2007, she has been a Candidate Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, working towards her AACI accreditation through the University of British Columbia, Sauder School of Business.
Under the mentorship of senior appraisers, Maia has appraised a comprehensive range of commercial properties as well as completed technical peer reviews, feasibility and market rental studies and provided consulting services.
Maia, and her husband Matt live in Downtown London with their young son, Jack.

Prepare comprehensive appraisal reports for investment, mixed use, multi-residential, industrial and commercial properties
Complete subdivision development analysis & development feasibility studies
Value special purpose properties
Prepare of expropriation appraisal assignment
Complete appraisal of leasehold interest, discounted cash flow analyses
Complete market rental studies (multi-family retail/commercial, industrial)
Utilize the Marshall & Swift costing manual to value properties under the Cost Approach
Review and analyze economic trends with respect to real property sub-markets
Relate economic conditions to specific types of properties with analysis and forecasts
Provide consulting services to clients
